Definitely an oddly wobbly climbout, considering it was calm winds. Will be interesting to see the readout/video, and the rationale for the quick return to base. Climb rate was definitely not sporty...I'd generally expect to be well above pattern altitude by the other end of an 8000' runway. Long road ahead, the age old 90/90 rule... I just watched the video someone posted of the take off on something other than my phone and that that thing looked like it was porpoising pretty bad on that climb out. I bet that scared the crap out of him. I bet he gets a proper test pilot now.

Congrats to the builder for doing what 99% of the participants in this thread said would never happen. Care to back up that claim? Most people seemed to think that it would fly, but not very well.
