Yes, I've been reading up on this, Strega was the first to beat Rare Bear on a regular basis, as they figured out the v12. Dago Red and Voodoo are copies. I haven't figured out why the split between Destefani and the Hintons yet. The crash of the Red Baron with Steven Hinton is amazing, can't believe he made it through that after seeing the wreckage. I understand there is a funding issue for the races in 14', hope it get's worked out, great stuff.

They mutually decided that it was time to retire last year. The owner of Voodoo later came to Steve Hinton and asked him to fly it. Steve went to Destafani and asked him what he thought and Destafani was all for it. Later in the year he decided to bring Strega out another time.

That's good to hear, the Hintons don't seem like the drama type. I'm sure Strega showing up and racing against the Hintons is good for press too, as my assumption would be quite common from folks that aren't too familiar. Thanks.
