That was stunning! Which site National Waco Club or American? That vid was posted on the NWC Forum. And you all are right - it is a stunning piece of work. Both the filmmaking and the restoration on that old biplane. These things are better now than when they left the factory...people put a lot of time and love into them so knuckleheads like me can go cruise around on Saturday mornings!
Think I'll check out the site. Haven't been there in a while as it's not too busy.
I'm finally getting my initial training done next week! I can't wait...

The beautifully airplane in the video is for sale for $200,000. Chris Woods is the owner and I believe his brother Scott is assisting him with the sale. Woods Brothers Aviation specialized in biplane restorations and did beautiful work. Scott and Chris are both respected Waco experts. I spoke to Scott at length a couple of years ago when I was looking for a Waco. He had his F2 for sale at that time (the red one on the website). If I did not already own a Waco Classic I would be trying to buy Chris' plane. If you are interested in these beautiful planes take a look. ...And when you launch off a farm in Charlottesville in an open cockpit biplane one morning, and it is 41dF, you (1) question your sanity, (2) have new respect for the ye olde mail pilots of antiquity, and (3) grin a lot...between the chattering teeth!
