How about these doozies We are working on a formal offer, for 3 weeks, and it never comes but the price never gets discussed, but the questions don't stop.
The aircraft appraiser is working on a formal offer.
The attorney is working on a formal offer and is sending tomorrow, never comes, but the calls/FaceTime calls don't stop. Nothing like FaceTiming a bunch of old 777 captains. I like it more when its 25-30 girls at 11:30pm on a Friday.
We are waiting on the attorney to finish the partnership agreement.
Its gonna cost me over 3MM to replaced your timed out engines so you need to pay me to take the plane.
One of the guys in our group is 986 years old and we are waiting to see if he can get insurance.
Vref said your plane was worth $1 but I couldn't even find the model and year to enter.
That panel upgrade was maybe $120K.
GTSIO's are a 12 month wait at Ram and cost well over $80MM, but are 2-3 months and $81,350/ea.
Can you owner finance half of it. You're trying to trade up but will you consider trading for a cool butt plug I inherited.
I'm working on my multi so I pretty much want to buy it.
Cancel all your plans Tuesday, I'll be there and I am buying the plane.
Fly me up to 17.5 and lets check the pressurization, and I'll pay for fuel when I buy the plane.
Can we list your plane on ASO, no I already told ya'll to go piss up a rope.
Who did your panel upgrade, I can't their name listed anywhere on the inner webs.
Can you convert this to turbine engines.
Almost forgot my favorite of all, jeez: The automobile I mean aircraft appraiser says this war in the Ukraine could really mess up the market. Neocon war profiteers in action.
added: Well since you don't have a broker, you're saving your self 8% right there. So ya know that's a good thing for you. Then tells me they have a broker, I guess that I am supposed to pay for.

- No.
The few remaining can be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. I get that it's stupid to have to field all of these pointless contacts, but if you distill the responses down you can save a lot of time.

As someone who appears to have made the maggot list, I will say that after spending 7 hours round trip that day travelling to see it, we didn't quite get all of the warm and fuzzy feelings you want when buying an airplane for that much money along with the additional investment required to bring the aircraft up to the standards we would like. Particularly the firm stance on not having the airplane looked at by a mechanic anywhere other than your hangar. And you were handed $250 cash after the 50 min flight to cover the fuel burned. Posts like these definitely validate the decision to pass.
