I'd prefer that too, but I think they have to keep the narration to the level understanding of a middle school science class. They probably get a much wider audience by, frankly, dumbing it down instead of nerding it up. Regardless of my personal preferences, I'm fine with it being this way.

Agreed. I'm happy with their "modern" style of presentation. I expect that it appeals to a broader audience, and anything that gets and holds the attention of the public in a positive way is great.
