Off topic but did anyone ever make a private/corporate transport out of a SAAB 340?

Not that I have ever seen... GM did use the Saab 2000 for corporate transport between the plants/subsidiaries.
Not to knock the SF340 too hard but without an APU it would be a hard sell to corporate/private entities. There were several attempts to STC an APU onto the Saab but I don't believe that any of them worked out/sold. The 340s were so popular with the regional ALs that I don't think you could pry one away from them at the time. Don't see many of them around anymore. Wonder if they have just about reached their cycle time/life limits?
