Depends on motor too, last year rebuilt my c85 as a stroker from don's dream machines, last overhaul was in 64 and had run fine since then. Old timers didn't like wing tanks (thought easier to rupture in a crash). No problem hand cranking by myself. Not many original ones around with clean logs.
