You need to figure out for the routes you fly what altitudes you can expect if you have RVSM. I'm thinking a non-RVSM 501 is about a 500nm IFR plane, no?

Hi Allen, Just sent you a PM. Appreciate your help. Remy Username Protected wrote: RVSM.... would that be a deal breaker? Plane does not have it. Will I gain much by going between FL 290 and FL 410 vs cost to install? Depends on the range you want out of the plane. Being non-RVSM your range will be much less and your fuel burn will be greater. You need to figure out for the routes you fly what altitudes you can expect if you have RVSM.

i'm in day 7 at LOFT on 10 day course. Two sim sessions down. So far, so good. No complaints. Good staff, good sim. The compression is a little higher than FSI or SIMCOM, but its very manageable. Their sim is a CJ1 with PL-21, UNS, and garmins.

They gave us an instructor that taught PC-12 and didn't know anything about the KA. But they were good about offering to fix it and this time they said I get one of their best guys.
