However, CJ3 and 4 are awesome. I'd love to have one but at a lower price point than the 300. I don't know why Jason but Phenom looks for me as a fake i don't know why , only my feeling anything else.

Jason,
What's the problem with phase inspections? On the CJ3, if you look closely, for a low utilized airframe (less than 300 hours a year), you're better off with a phase inspection program than doing full blown annuals every year. It will cheaper and there will be less downtime.

If you need to bring the plane to a maintenance location is can be PITA. If you have maintenance at your base then it can be done when the plane isn't flying.

CJ3 is all on 300, 600, 1200, 12, 24, 36 month phase schedule, so no different than an annual as long as under 300 hour per year. There is a battery check every 6 months, but off the top of my head, that's what I remember from my research when we were looking at them.

Ohh hoo hooo yes, Phenom 300s do break down... I don't have much of a frame of reference of other jets. Reliable, yes, but certainly I've seen a number of problems.

I think the perfect hauler - more than 6 seats, but not too big where I'd feel overly wasteful...
Love the -300,

I fly the 300 professionally and love it. Our company uses a minimum runway length of 3500 ft dry and 5600 ft wet. It climbs like a Banshee compared to the Cessnas: For example with 4 pax and 4 hrs of fuel it will climb at 4500 to 5000fpm up to the high teens and even at 38000 it's still climbing at about 1300fpm. The ability to preset your fuel load like airliners is very helpful and the powerful AC comes in real handy in hot/humid weather. The Garmin 3000 is a great FMS with multiple ways to accomplish most tasks. The brakes are very powerful, but below about 70Kts there is a tendency for one brake to grab more than the other. It's definitely the best trailing link gear that I have ever experienced (every landing is a grease job.) Besides the grabby brakes, the only negative I've found is that the cockpit air supply temperature varies too much in auto setting.
