I'll have to second that one, PC12 seems to be owner flown quite often.

Pilatus says 80% of new sales are going to pro-pilot flow operators. There are still a lot of owner flown ops but with the higher utilization of the pro flown ops, I bet actual utilization hours are about 50/50.

Is this accurate? Can't imagine the potty is up front. If so, there's money waiting to be made on that STC. Does Pilatus put the outflow valve up front?

Not sure about the PC24 but in the PC-12 the outflow valve is under the lav. The design works quite well.

I would not call Brent a horse but..........
Brent's trying to get me on the Popa board, rattle things up a little..........it's definitely quiet, but you do get your questions answered.
....and Crandall still owes my breakfast for not hooking a brother up when in town!!!

It is, and it's not ideal, but I don't know where else you would put it. The aft portion is the cargo area. It's actually quite a lav compared to most, and my rule is potties are for peepee!
My wife, standing in a Gulfstream...
HER "what did you just call it?"
ME "A potty"
HER "grown men standing in a twenty million dollar airplane saying it has a potty?"
ME "yeah... it is kinda childish isn't it..."

I'm confusing myself here.... 50% of the hours. Estimating 50% of the hours are owner flown, 50% pro pilot, a lot of the initial PC12 (legacy birds) sales went to owner operators. I think most owner operators operate legacies vs NGs. There are currently more legacy serial numbers. My data from Pilatus was recent new sales of NGs, not historical. But pro flown operators like Surf Air, Plane Sense, Boutique Air, will drive up the utilization hours on fewer serial numbers (new birds) thus the 50/50 estimate on hours.
