It would be interesting to look at the all in operating costs of those two pilot jets with a full time pilot compared to a more expensive single pilot jet. The cost of the pilot's salary and load might not be that significant in comparison. Frankly, it's more fun to fly with someone else in the right seat anyway.

Yea, that's why it would only work if I could get my dog type rated.
And even then it wouldn't..
We know one thing, if these jets are actually being used the economics put them in the boneyard pretty fast. It's the owners that have an emotional attachment, and/or don't fly them a whole lot that keep them going I reckon. Plus the odd nut individual who gets a wild hair and throws caution to the wind because he can pick up a sabreliner 60 for $175,000. ....and gets run out of it in a year and 35 hours and $100k later
It's a sickness, sadly I'm one of those unique kinds of idiots

For single pilot, the Citation ISP is in the $500K +/- range. Not a bad way to get typed and log some time.

And at the same time chant: " I love monopolies, I love monopolies" as you hand over the service contract, and your wallet, to the only shop in the world that can overhaul them...
