At this point, how many people want a “new” plane based on one designed in the 80’s.
Unless it says “Boeing” on the data plate, most buyers want new new airplanes.

Sounds like a great idea to completely change an aircraft with unproven avionics, new engines, new fly by wire, new landing gear and just update an older certification because its basically the same plane. Another great idea.
