I know you need to be a contortionist to get in the cockpit of the PA-46 series. Are the rudder pedals adjustable on a M600?

The pedals are not adjustable.Since I am 5’8” it is not difficult to get in the cockpit but I have had some copilots that I was not certain they could, but they did.If you get your feet past the spar just turn 90 degrees and sit down and that is the easiest I have found.

Once you are in there it’s plenty comfortable unless you 6’4” or more. Getting isn’t bad after you have done it a few times. Your new passengers will struggle the first time. It’s a real thing but not a deal breaker for most people.

It wasn't for anyone who bought a PA46, but I know plenty of people like me who decided against it. The other side of the logic is *getting out*. If it is difficult to get into, getting out in a hurry if necessary was what gave me pause.

I am 6' 2" with shorter legs (31" inseam) and a longer torso. It took a little bending to get in but once I was in the M600 fit like a glove. If I had longer legs and a shorter torso, that may have been a different ballgame.
