Paul New did my 210 prebuy and recommended Coastal Aviation in Santa Maria as I live in PHX. That being said I took my plane to Del for hail damage repair and to John Efinger twice a year for maintenance. Both of them are great!

Wanted how I fixed my Cessna doors and latches. I’ve had a lot of positive feedback posting the process on a blog post. http://welch.com/n46pg/category/doors/The post discusses how to realign he door and adjust/overhaul the latches. My previous hard to close and latch doors now suck shut like a new Cessna, and teh lathes are butter smooth. Hope it helps.

David, i actually linked your article in the first post; it was my inspiration that the problem is actually solvable!  Just need to find a mechanic with some time to help me do all the work. -David
