I believe I would have said to all 3 towers... "get ya cell phone cameras out, you won't ever see this again"!

Nice job! I see Kennedy is still Kennedy on a slow day... I used to fly CRJs out of there and some days they could be really ornery... :pilot:

That was fun, I was a lineboy and flew out of CDW in the 60s, flew into JFK in a 172 when I was 17 (1965) to pick up an exchange student.... easy flight then. In and out of all three since ( in better equipment) but , never as easily as in the 172 back then. Spooky to see it soooo slow.

His name is Weiswasser.... I wonder if he likes whitewater rafting, kyaking, etc...

Don't know if you caught it in the vid (ref "medical student") but Dr. Weiswasser is also a renowned vascular surgeon in addition to building airplanes, making great vids and a touring drummer.

That explains how he can afford his toys. I've seen him in a couple of things and he mentions the Eagles tribute band, and I kept thinking "There is no way his band makes that much money."

I just did 3 low approaches to the big 3 this last Sunday. A lot of fun but very sad seeing the empty parking lots and just one C172 taxiing at KEWR.

I exchanged several messages with Dr. Weiswasser (Jon) before one of their last gigs in Leesburg, VA this February, prior to the shutdown. I turned attending the show into a surprise 50th birthday party for my wife (a little deferred; her actual BD is 31Dec, which sucks as a birthday). Jon had the lead singer make a shout out to her and we had a bit of a chat after the show. Thoroughly good guy and the band is very good, too. Check out EagleMania if they're ever in a venue near you. You won't be disappointed.

I flew into JFK to pick my future son-in-law, his father and my daughter in my Bonanza to go skiing. You can go any Saturday or Sunday as long as you get out of Dodge by 10:00 AM. After the that the landing fee goes from ridiculous to outrageous.
