I agree with JC. Was at an event last year where a dude brought his bell chopper in and landed on the lawn. It was insane what a mess it created. Batteries and fans don’t change the fact that if you need to lift a few thousand lbs you need to move a heap of air.

That said, there is a ton of underutilized airport infrastructure in the US and I hope we see a bunch of new, interesting planes to base at those.
