There is a shade hangar available directly across from my hangar. Any downside to storing a fabric plane under a shade hangar instead of in an enclosed hangar?

I know I will need to to plug everything to keep the birds out, but what about the impact on the fabric itself?

Most fabric planes need to be re-covered when the fabric becomes brittle due to UV exposure.

I would think a shade hangar would still allow significant UV exposure and shorten the life of the fabric.
