I toured the production facility a few weeks ago and test flew the prototype. It is an impressive airplane. Philipp Steinbach is equally impressive, he is a talented engineer and seems to have a clear understanding of the business. The business is backed by a Walton and has plenty of cash; hence, Bentonville. They are working to create multiple revenue streams from their composite manufacturing expertise and equipment.

The plane is crazy light. You can hold the empanage with two fingers. It is very much like a life sized version of a model airplane. Philipp is working with Garmin on an ideal avionics package so the current prototype and web art are not up to date.

Cockpit is comfortable, I am 6' 1" and it was fine.

Not so sure about the "tail dragger training" claim, that is a stretch. The airplane is very sensitive in pitch and roll; it is an unlimited aerobatic airplane after all.

Steurt Walton is a very experienced pilot, was flying his TBM back and forth across the Atlantic himself. Pretty young guy. Engineer who was involved with design aspects of the GB.
He also is a competitive acro pilot and Warbird collector in addition to duties in the family business. Many of the Walton Family are/were pilots.
I believe he has now moved up to a Phenom 300.

This thing does fly like an RC plane. incredible things he does here. Those negative G maneuvers give me a headache just watching them.

Follow up article about certification, indicates they have sold 11 units pre-certification.
