Gentleman,
I'm sure you all have been there. I'm getting the itch to move up. I have a 58P at this time and while it a great plane. It's seems like a SETP would fit the bill nicely. I have been looking at TBM 700C2 and even Epic LT's. My hanger neighbor has one and it is awesome! In fact he was interested in partners. My first choice would me own it outright myself. I have heard war stories good and bad. Problem is a lot of them are "I know a guy " stories. What are real costs and Pros and cons? I think that a SETP is better than what I have now. I know this is been beat to death. But some topics on here turn in 20 page grunge matches that get off topic that never comes back around. I value everyone's opinion. Just trying to zero in on the debate.

My only comment would be:

"Never get into a partnership where you can't buy the other person out."

It would be a real shame and add stress if the only solution would be to dissolve the assets to break up the partnership.

So if you can't go it alone, then you shouldn't go it at all.

I can comfortably do it alone. I would rather do it that way.
