This may be a dumb question, but does the widgeon have a 12 volt or 24 volt electrical system?

What will wreck you with this type is hitting a wake or wave with it and not knowing how to "juke the yoke". By Juke I mean the full up or down or both elevator input it takes to restore the aircraft attitude to the proper angle that doesn't porpoise. The guru is juking it the entire time and has a feel to set the proper attitude angle. This is a skill that is like riding a unicycle in that you can't really teach it, you just have to feel it. I'm not there yet so I'm staying out boat wakes and serious waves. I've flown a lot of different airplanes and this is the only one that really challenges me. It's no Searey for sure.

Coming from the Beech world, hydraulics were pretty foreign to be. The Lancair and the Widgeon have hydraulic systems and the more I use them the more I appreciate them over Beech style electric gear and flaps.
