I know this F86, its owned by Vintage Wings of Canada. Its a private aircraft museum in Gatineau near me. http://www.vintagewings.caThe owner Michael Potter is very picky and everything in there is top grade.

No, but that was the precipitating incident in the rules for high-powered and jet Experimental aircraft. Before that, anyone could jump in and go without any training, and go solo in any aircraft. I don't remember when "Type Ratings" for all jets came into being, but that led to it. Long time ago (9/24/1972) but I remember it well. Oddly, the pilot lived, but it killed many, mostly children. Terrible tragedy.
