I have a cheap lower back pad from auto zone in my seat. Can't use the bottom style from https://www.oregonaero.com because I'm too tall. Wish I could have our seats totally redone by OA. So far not allowed because of the 28G seats due to TC I'm told.

I've put a piece of impact resistant gel under the lamb's wool cover on my seat and it does help spread the weight I guess (amazing stuff I bought at OSH a few years ago - put a piece over my flattened hand and hit with a mallet - no pain). I've got an OA seat cushion but it's too thick.

Next? I've put a jet on my list for 3 years from now as a goal. But it's hard to see how it'll be much of an improvement in capability except private potty and two engines!

I really like my TBM (but then I've liked all the planes I've been lucky enough to fly!).
