Does anyone have an electronic copy of the POH for a Cessna 414 (a) and/or the Aerostar 601P that they are willing to share? The bug for pressurization and deice has bitten and these are two of the planes I'm considering. The C340 is in the mix as well but the cabin size of the C414 is seductive. I'd like to review the POH's to understand the aircrafft systems and capabilities a bit more.

I love the Baron and have it to a maintenance level that gives high dispatch rate so it's painful to think of going through that again. The counter thought is that I'm cancelling several flights each winter because of fear of ice in the B55. I've flown heavier equipment in the past and understand the limitations of pneumatic deice on piston planes and accept that a turbine is the entry level for true all-weather capability. That said, the deice & pressurization will significantly increase my utility and family's comfort in the airplane.

My mission is 2-4 adults + 2 grandkids (infrequent passengers), east coast flying primarily, 300-600 mile range, 125-150 hours per year.

Thanks in advance.

http://www.eflightmanuals.com has a lot of them. Pretty reasonable.

For your mission, how about a Cheyenne I? A little less horsepower than the original Cheynne (called a Cheynenne II), but without the stability system. Prices are reasonable. Cabin is bigger than a 414.
