I got a type rating, along with the ATP, in 2011 in a Citation X and added a Beechjet/Nextant type rating in February of this year. I was told about 10 days ago that I am headed back to CAE in Dallas for another type, the Phenom 300, and class starts Nov 1.
I have done all of the pre-study work and this is going to be a different experience - Garmin 3000 Touch screen instead of Honeywell or Rockwell-Colllins FMS's, Single Pilot and Crew as opposed to crew only, and a very automated plane designed in this century.
It should be interesting.

It isn't mine, I just get paid to fly it. I will keep currency in the Beechjet and Phenom and they will all be 91 and 135 - 1 Phenom 300 and 4 Beechjet.
While it isn't mine, I don't get the fuel and matenance bills either. It's a pretty good trade off.

Congrats, additional learning on very high performance airplanes. You are lucky!!
Enjoy the single pilot experience after crew work.
