I don't know jack about these but they look super cool. I'm betting they have bunch of run-out parts/engines/inspections that when combined cost way more than they are worth.....

Dauphine's (Dolphin). US Coast Guard has operated tons of them for decades and they're a staple in the offshore oil business. Twin engine, Fenestron tail rotors. Probably run out or have some main gearbox/blades/masts etc that needs replacing. Not cheap.

Also registered in the Gov Category so may not comply with current FARs that normal people have to comply with.

They have been trying to sell these foe a while. This the 4th or 5th auction trying to move these.

As John Oaks knows, I work with a fleet of AS350s for a medical company and Airbus helicopters, with all the inspections, time life items and operating costs ($1,500 plus an hour).

Without seeing the time and cycles of the engine and components, you are looking at a lot of money to keep it airworthy.

If you want a good helicopter find a little Robinson, Hughes 269 or etc.
