The 22lb'ers I'm not Todd, but here in the Dalls area, several of the LSA-based flight schools use them, and seem quite happy with them. (Of course, these are all 2-place cabins.) The Rotax engines require a second alternator (generator?) that powers the AC unit. When I build my EAB, I will definitely have one of these units installed. It's all great to say "once you get to altitude, you'll be cool enough." But around here, the startup / taxi / climb out in 105° temps turns you into a limp, wet noodle before you get there... Wish I could put one in my Commander 114. (Or any other aftermarket AC system, for that matter. The icebox things are OK, but hauling ice is a PITA.)
