Too huge. Looks like they have a serious APU judging by the exhaust port.

Are they asymptomatic? You'd never know until it was too late anyway.

Planes are wonderful things, but like any great technology they cause as many problems as they fix.

That A380 is something. I took an Emirates flight to Dubai from JFK in one last January in business class what a great way to travel. After the Baron of course! If you have to go a long way and work the next day there is nothing better than that plane in business. Not sure what other carriers have done but it is hard to beat Emirates these days.

I saw two of them at JFK while flying commercial one day. They are incredibly massive.

I like riding on them, comfy and quiet. But the line at customs sucks.

A friend lives near one of the approaches to JFK so on a summer day I can often see a few of these flying overhead. They're just ridiculously massive, and impressive. They lack the grace that a 747 has, but they sure get the job done.

When I was working the Hawker 4000 World Tour, one of the stops was the 2007 Dubai Air show and they parked us next to the A380 for the show. Heavy iron is not word for that big bird.

When I was at the Air Show, I watched the signing ceremony for an Arabian Prince, which purchased one for a private aircraft.
