You cannot beat a Corolla if looking for a reliable and inexpensive car to maintain. That's what I bought for my son as a first car - he drove that Corolla until after he graduated from college and had a decent job landed. It survived 4 years outside in the sea air at UCSB - was hard on the paint but drove like a champ until it was replaced with a new Mazda CX5.

Looks like a nice car, Pretty hard to go wrong with a Corolla.
The mark of a good car is the mileage on used examples, There are 10-20 year old Corollas all over up here with 280k plus miles on FB market place, and they’re are still commanding higher prices than similar year German cars that cost 2x as much and have half the miles.
I had a late 90s Geo Prizm (Corrola) that I got to 300k with nothing but oil, brakes and tires. My Daughters gave each other lesson exams on the farm roads in it when they were 12-13-14.
