When I was young (like 10-13) I built one of those P-51s. Covered it with tissue paper and it had the rubber band power plant. Flew it a few times in calm days but decided I worked to hard to watch it crash so it sat on my shelf. I’m pretty sure it got damaged while I was away for school after I graduated as I don’t know where it went. Good fun.

I have two of these to build some day. Thought about making one an electric RC. Attachment: IMG_7811.jpg

This one done right probably costs about as much as a full scale plane.

He is flying the nasal mucous out of that thing.
I wonder if it has magnesium ruddervators?

I did their J-3 Cub too which also flew very nice. This is before I knew much about electrics. The issue is cooling the ESC. When it overheats it kills the BEC and you crash.
