New plane has Bose at every seat and DC for backups so this one can have a new home.

The battery compartment lid is broken. It broke outside of the airplane, I think when my son was playing with it. It had been "his" headset so I let him wear it in my office. Lo and behold.... I experimented with scotch tape and a rubber band both which seem to work fine.
I inquired with lightspeed and its out of the 5 year warranty as they made it in 2013.
Flat rate repair for the tiny broken plastic piece is $100.

I beg pleaded and complained but after going up the chain of CS supervisors I find out that they don't even have that individual parts they only have entire replacement control modules. The upside is that if cables need replacement they'll do that too. I just don't want to spend $100 bucks just to sell it.

Not a lot of use but seems age and temp has made the ear cups flake a little tiny bit you can see in the photos.
