Just out of curiosity, is this just the radar dish? or dish and mounting setup plus controls?

AFAIK you can't control the radar through the GMX-200, there has to be a controller somewhere in the cockpit for range, tilt, etc?

RS181A is a complete R/T system. Eveything but the display.
The GMX200 can FULLY control (tilt range etc) the RS181A and be the sole controller.

RS181A is a complete R/T system. Eveything but the display.
The GMX200 can FULLY control (tilt range etc) the RS181A and be the sole controller.

And how do you determine if it's RADAR compatible?

Reason I'm asking is because my hangar neighbour has 1 for sale and not sure if his has that feature.

Part number on the dataplate, should be 700-00007-XXX
The XXX number will tell you. One with radar also has an inner and outer knob on each side. Non radar just has one knob on each side.
