I'm putting my 1979 A36 TN up for sale. It was a tough decision to do so but I'm just not using the plane enough to justify keeping it. The listing can be found here: https://www.controller.com/listing/for- ... e-aircraftIn keeping with the rules the price is $389,000. Steve Pittman is handling the sale for me and the plane is located in Columbia, SC at KCUB. There is no known damage history and the plane has always been hangared since I've owned her. I won't list all the aspects of the plane but will highlight a few here. N66514 is in the coveted 1979 to 1983 model year range of Bonanzas (New configuration and still light weight). She has a TAT TN upgraded to the Whirlwind III. This is a traveling machine. She has a new Garmin Panel with the G500 AP. There are many modifications on this plane including 8" wheels and tires (excellent short field performance), A number of speed mods, a Powermaster's engine that was custom spec'd by me. I topped the engine 286 hours ago. My plan was to fly this engine to 3,000 plus hours. The plane has an useful load of 1498#s. She will true between 196 and 200 kts depending upon temperature and weight. I typically see 11 to 11.8 NMPG. With proper fuel management you would have a 1300 nm range and still be able to carry 800#s of people/stuff. The plane has Osborne tips for a total fuel capacity of 120 gallons (actual useful fuel is higher), a new O2 bottle, pilot position airbags, AOA and Alpine landing lights along with a bunch of other stuff. The plane is in top notch working condition, the paint in good condition. The interior is in fair condition. If you're interested in the plane contact Steve Pittman at 803-308-1826. I will try to answer any questions here that Steve can't answer. I also have a 40' x 39-6" box hangar at KFPR. I own the building and it has a 40 year lease that is renewable for another 40 with approximately 35 years remaining on the current ground lease. If any of you South Florida pilots have been looking for a plane but have been waiting on a hangar, I may consider selling them as a package with the emphasis on MAY. edited to correct Steve's number.

Good luck with the sale Rick. You've got a great one. Not sure if you remember, but you helped me out with a bunch of questions when I got by TN36 7 years ago. Even took the time to jump on the phone with me. I still owe you that beer if you ever make it out to Denver.

The TN A36 is the best value in general aviation bar none. I may take you up on the beer. We are heading west sometimes in late January or Feb for some dirt biking. We may swing up to Denver as we are passing through.

This is one of those unicorns that rarely comes along. If I was in the market, I would send a deposit today.

Rick, Thanks for your informative posts and contributions to the flying community. You've helped me out, in particular with insights about flying to the Bahamas. Regards, Todd
