I'm with Sidney - the Duke is the piston twin that takes the prize for having the sexiest lines of them all. This example has left me with an unfortunate amount of drool on my shirt.

This is a super nice one folks! Wow! If you’re looking, this would be a great one!

Best pilot traveling machines short of a turbine! Dive in, get training from Bob Hoffman, and fly the crap out of it!

I owned this for a little while before my family outgrew it. It’s a great flying airplane.

Correct. The E1A4 to E1C4 conversion just incorporates the use of the Air Research turbochager instead of the RayJay that is almost impossible to get parts/support for.

Indicative by the longer tailpipe from the turbo which was used to direct the exhaust further waway from the wing. Lots of early Dukes and 56TC's were having issues with flap corrosion because of the shorter tailpipe on the E1A4/E1B4 motors.

The Duke does not have inboard boots, but doesn't change the fact it's (generally) FIKI certified. Mine is (my POH has the proper supplements and placards and is properly equipped per those docs).

BE60 doesn’t have inboard boots. That whole inboard boot requirement is a Cessna thing…

Also this A appears to have 230 gallons fuel capacity. Was that a conversion too? I thought 230 came along with the B model.

BLR sold wet wingtip conversion STC. And Beech had a kit from the factory to upgrade to 232 gallons and move landing lights to landing gear
