The owner has decided to keep his Baron.
We certainly appreciate most of the inquiries that we received and the “TWO” very serious offers that we received.

OFF MARKET OFF MARKET

I am selling this airplane for a friend who is a professional pilot and is traveling for work over 50% of the time. His work schedule no longer permits him to fly as much as much as he would like to so he has decided to pass this airplane onto someone that can get some use out of it. You would have to look long and hard to find a more solid well maintained aircraft than this one.

This aircraft has seriously been maintained with an open check book and has no squawks.
The last two annuals were done at Daytona Aircraft Services and the three prior annuals were all at one of the big name Beech specialty shops. This is a NO CORROSION aircraft.

Thanks Paul,
We tried to price it at what we thought it would easily sell for.
It was suggested by a local broker that we list it at $179K.
It is a very nice airplane .

Hello Todd,

I just got photos of the panel late yesterday evening, as well as some good engine photos, interior photos etc. I have added links to the original ad for the higher resolution and additional photos as well as to the digitized log books.

You can also go to this link below for the same photos.

I apologize it took me a little while to coordinate getting these online.

Thanks,

James,
One GPS is all I see.
I appreciate you bringing that to my attention though, as well as anyone else who may have missed that.
However, I do believe that I have priced it accordingly, though, don’t you?
We do have in stock GTN650’s and GTN750’s as well as one 530W that we can include for an additional amount, either installed or À la cart, your choice …. if you have an interest .

Thanks,
Frank

Has VOR/ILS as a back up. I flew for decades without GPS and the last 10 with 1 530W. Why would you need more than one?
This seems like a good deal on a nice 55.

It does look like a nice plane.

As to the question of GPSs I feel more comfortable with two when flying IFR. I’ve had two inflight GPS failures before, sure was glad I had the spare. Just personal preference I guess. Im all about redundancy - which is why I fly a twin.

I totally understand that. I have thur far never had a Garmin GPS fail in flight, but I have experienced three failures with Brand-X slide in replacement units.

I flew for many years without a GPS, or even a loran, so I guess I am pretty comfortable with a VOR for a backup .

Thanks, Frank

This airplane also has the Flightstream 210 installed so it’s easy to connect your iPad both to upload your flight plans as well as to get ADSB in and weather on your portable device be it an iPad or one of the portable GARMIN devices.

Thanks, Frank
