Was that ordered from the factory for export?
Is it a 28V ship?

All 1970 V35B are 14 volts from the factory.

Does the engine have a VAR crank and is the case the heavy case? If overhauling, it can make a $10,000 difference in core charges. How many times has the C76 prop been overhauled? It can't be used on some engine upgrades and my experience is that it can only be overhauled 3 times economically.

John Collins is correct, all Bonanzas were 14 V to about halfway through 1978 year models. All serial numbers from about D-10144 and after were 28V airplanes. Might have been one or two before that number in 1978 that got a 28V system. It's somewhere notated in Larry Ball's book, They call me Mr. Bonanza.

Most planes designated for export were 28V

Hi,

The aircraft is 14V as Larry said.
The owner is looking into the question about the number of prop overhauls, the VAR question and the crankcase. As soon as I have an answer, I will report back.

Have a great weekend !!

I'm sure others will disagree but I absolutely love the nostalgia look of that blue interior.

Me likes it!

The Air Britain Bonanza production list shows the following information;

D-9120 Built 1970 Type V35B
Reg.Rsvd.12.12.69 D-EECA Firma Herbert Bauder, Hanover
US Export Certificate Number 91998 issued 19.2.70
PtoF issued 27.2.70
At Shannon on delivery 18.3.70
Regd.18.6.70 D-EECA Firma Herbert Bauder, Hanover
CofA Number 4768 issued 18.6.70
Regd. . . . D-EECA Firma Herbert Bauder, Hanover-Altwarmbuchen (BV72,BV75)

My conclusion is that D-EECA was ordered new from Beechcraft and issued with a US Export Certificate. It never was registered in the US, nor was it required to be.
It can however be registered in the US with a German Export CofA.
