Latitude Aviation is proud to bring to market N58NZ, which is a 2007 Beechcraft G58 Baron. N58NZ is based in Charlotte, NC at Gastonia Municipal Airport and is owned by a long-time BeechTalk member. There is no known damage history on N58NZ.
N58NZ was delivered from the factory to Australia and it spent virtually its entire life both there and New Zealand. The current owner then moved from New Zealand to Charlotte in 2021 and brought N58NZ with him as part of his move. The owner chose Stevens Aerospace (due to its incredible reputation and experience with Beechcraft products) to perform the import process and its first annual inspection. Stevens performed an incredibly detailed annual inspection and the list of work performed in the logbook entry is lengthy.
With a total time of 1916 hours, N58NZ has averaged about 113 hours per year since new. The engines will be replaced with factory rebuilt engines in June 2024 (with an 18 month factory warranty). The installation is being performed by Bill Ahearn at Atlantic Beechcraft Services at KFXE in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Bill has never seen the plane before so this is a great opportunity for a buyer to have a pre-purchase evaluation performed by a Beechcraft expert at the time of the engine installation. The propellers were overhauled in 2017 and have 511 hours since overhaul.
N58NZ has been upgraded with the G1000 NXi system which is a great upgrade to the original G1000 system. Other avionics upgrades include a Skywatch active traffic system, XM weather/radio via the GDL 69A, and Flight Stream 510. It also has had an Alpha Systems AOA system added to the panel. Other upgrades to the aircraft include an LED taxi light, GAMIjectors, and a Door Steward.
The paint shows well for its age and it appears to have been stored in a hangar since new.
The interior is in good shape and the seats and side panels were redone in 2017.
