N819MM is a low time plane with 2991 hours and has mid-time 862 hour engines and low time props with only 186 and 25 since overhaul respectively. The plane was previously in Fort Lauderdale FL and the current owner had highly-respected Atlantic Beechcraft (Bill Ahearn) do his pre-purchase evaluation and subsequent follow-on maintenance in 12/2019. As part of that maintenance event the owner spent $40,000 and had Bill do many of the calendar and hour-based inspections/overhauled performed such as propeller overhauls, engine hoses, fuel selector valve overhauls, new brake lines, wing bolt inspections, etc. And also as part of his inspection he had Bill pull lifters (and replace with new ones) check both camshafts (and they were found to be in good shape).
The panel on N819MM is upgraded with an Avidyne IFD 540, IFD 440, EX 500 MFD, Century 41 autopilot, XM receiver, and G4 engine monitors.
N819MM has other great upgrades such as deice boots, Norton radome, GAMIjectors, LED lights, Arctic Air semi-portable air conditioning system, and SRS aluminum elevators.
This plane was previously for sale about a year ago but just prior to the pre-purchase evaluation the owner experienced a propeller strike on the right side when the propeller struck an orange rubber safety cone. The engine was removed for a prop strike inspection, propeller overhauled, and some minor sheetmetal work on the right side of the nose was performed as well. The owner just got it back a few months ago and has flown the plane about 25 hours in the last 60 days.
N819MM is an excellent example of a well-maintained B55 President II Conversion. This conversion is known for its incredible horsepower and power.
