I think you should keep it unless it is absolutely positively necessary to sell your stuff. You can never get it back. I sold a restored jeep and a sea ray boat and still regret both.

Hi Ben, please email any additional photos you might have available and if possible copies of the last 3-4 annuals. Please elaborate on the “warts” and the engine issues that you mentioned. Would also like to know about any hail or corrosion. Thanks, Greg Smith greg@flightgroup.aero

Ben: On the subject of regret, I had a terrific 1969 Model 36, E135. I flew it through several engines, upgraded as needed, installed a 550 and loved the performance. Moved across country in it, carrying all the houseplants that the State of California would have confiscated at the border. No better single engine piston hauler in my view. And now, years later, when I'm hunting for a new airplane, I really, really wish I'd just kept the damned thing. You may want to think on that some. Best of luck either way, Robin White Friday Harbor, WA

I believe you said you have the 550. If so, you should be able to purchase the useful load increase STC from d'shannon. I have E-52 and did this, now sitting at 1704 useful load.

I have E-52 and did this, now sitting at 1704 useful load. It's a D'Shannon engine so it came with the additional 100lbs. I don't have the STC paperwork for the tip tank MGW increase. D'Shannon wanted over $1k for the paperwork to go with the tip tanks already installed.

Best of luck either way, Robin White Friday Harbor, WA I hear you, I just don't have that mission anymore. Since moving back to Idaho 4 years ago, I have taken 5 "longish" trips in the Bonanza. Total time saved over taking a 182 is less than 5 hours. I've thought about it a long time; I originally wanted to sell it when I moved here 4 years ago. Now the numbers are proven; this is no longer the "perfect airplane" for us.

Ben, Just want to confirm your current asking price is $220k? You have a real nice airplane that I am interested in and would like to talk. I am unable to direct message as I am a new member to Beechtalk. Regards, Stork

Is it still for sale? Can you elaborate via PM or email what all got done on the last couple of annuals other than the usual drill? And what you'd want to see done if you did decide to keep it (which I endorse)? Thanks, Robin White Friday Harbor PM'd you
