From a salvage perspective someone got a smoking deal. The engines could be worth 150k plus each, even to ag operators. Heated windshield 15k ea if good and probably 20K plus in the panel. Hundreds of other good parts. If I was still active in the salvage business I would have been happy to pay 150K. The wasp and birds nest along with bad tires are a plus to me as they help scare away retail buyers.

A friend was bidding on it and was prepared to bid it up to 150 but he didn’t read the fine print from the auction co. There was a limited number of auto extensions and even though he was in at 100K it went to someone else because his 100K bid was entered first.

I've seen much worse than that get ferried out. This Aerostar riddled with corrosion got ferried out of HHR a few years back. We were flabbergasted.
