Suggest you peddle it on J3-cub.com as well. Sniff out a gentleman named Bob Turner there.

Bob has a ton of knowledge of Cubs, and owns several.

Bonus: I believe Bob is from that area.

There are 2 Bob Turners in the Cub world, both from Calif. One from Norcal, the other one, that seems to be quite Cub-savvy, is in the San Diego area.

Suggest you join J3-cub.com and start with a thread called, “Buying a J3?” There are plenty of tips, insights, and gotchas listed to get you started.

Appears to be an extra tank (presumably fuel) ahead of the stick with and electric transfer pump?

Maybe some kind of smoke system or inverted fuel?

It also has an electrical system.

Very nice looking cub and likely at the higher end of the value range.

I have N25973 which is also a 39 and is probably very close by serial number.

I am meeting with the owner after Christmas. He is failing and his wife is getting nervous.
They want me to help but I am very busy. I don’t really have time but they are old
Friends.
