That’s serious bang for the buck.

What happens 1300 hours from now. Used engines?

I think that’s a lifetime for most people but yes, you can just hot them and move on!

Well, the 501 never got quite that cheap but that ship has definitely sailed.

They were never under $1 million until Obama Collapsed the entire Jet market.

They are still at the point where the sum of the parts is worth more than the airplane as a flying machine, which is insane. I have chopped up 17 Citations in the last 40 days and believe I have more parts than textron and Dodson combined.

The point is any plane that I save was saved because I love these airplanes and because there was something special about the airplane that deserved a stay of execution. Unquestionably, If you can get over the 125 gallon per hour block fuel burn, 501 is the best value in aviation still.

You can’t load a 501 out of center of gravity very easily. This one you can put about 1200 pounds of people in it with full fuel. I’d like to see what a brand new CJ is, but I bet you this is double the payload

Michael, I truly appreciate what you are doing to save these Aircraft and make them available to folkes that can appreciate what they can do for their particular missions.

Half the price of a new Cirrus SR-22 and 3x the fun! That would be a lot of fun to fly before you have to worry about an HSI for the noisemakers!

Nice plane, Doc! Thanks for helping keep them flying and supporting these gorgeous birds!

I can’t speak for newer CJs, but the straight CJ 525 usually had about 4000 lb useful load. Full full is 3220 lbs.
