Latitude Aviation is proud to represent N66489, which is a 1983 Beechcraft A36 Bonanza. N66489 is owned by a BT member and is based in Dallas at McKinney National Airport. I sold this plane to the current owner in January of 2013.
N66489 has an incredibly low total time of only 2755 hours and 1466 hours since major overhaul on the engine (in 2004). However all 6 cylinders have been replaced in the past 15 months (with 5 of them having been replaced last month). The propeller was last overhauled 1466 hours as well.
The panel has been upgraded with a G500 PFD/MFD. Because some may ask, it does not have a GAD 43 or GAD 43E installed. The autopilot is a KFC 200 and it has a GNS 530W, KX 155 , WX 500, GTX 327, and GDL 88 installed. Other avionics in the panel include a KN 63 DME, KMA 24 audio panel, Sigtronics intercom, and EDM 700 engine monitor.
One of the best upgrades the owner installed is the FTA air conditioning system. As many of you know, this is the same built-in system that is installed on the new G36's today and is a fantastic climate control system.
Other upgrades to the aircrat include GAMIjectors, GAMI's cylinder 2/6 baffle kit, leather-wrapped dual yoke, and G&D tinted window inserts.
The only damage history that I am aware of is that the LH elevator was overhauled with the SRS aluminum skin STC due to a hangar rash incident in 8/2011. Additionally, there is some cosmetic damage to the paint just aft of the front pilot door due to an incident where the door popped open on takeoff and the seat belt exited the aircraft and banged around on the paint until the owner landed.
The aircraft's cosmetics are in line with what you would expect from a 2001 paint and interior but I do believe that a good touch-up painter could extend the life of this paint job by quite a bit.
N66489 is a turn-key A36 that has great upgrades. I have pasted the spec sheet below and in it is a Dropbox link that will take you to 120+ high resolution photos, the logbooks, 337's, W&B form, etc. Please contact me anytime to discuss this outstanding A36 Bonanza. Thank you!
