Hi, I am new to BT and have really enjoyed reading the posts. I have an experimental Lancair and have decided due to my expanding family to move up to a 6 seat airplane.

The Lancair has spoiled me with its speed, pressurized cabin and low DOC's. It's downside is the small cabin and a wife who doesn't appreciate stuffing our growing family into such tight spaces.

So, I was recommended by my cousin who owns a B36TC to join BT and read some forums and maybe get some ideas on some different options. I am also checked out in a close friend's G36TN Bo and that has been great to fly.

I love the Beech products and I am looking forward to getting to know them better.

Welcome, Kevin. Gorgeous airplane.

Is it your preference to stay with a single, rather than pressurization?

It's a great time to move up to a 58P, if the fuel burn doesn't scare you. You and the family are probably spoiled with the comfort of pressurization, it may be hard to give up.

I have had the pleasure of flying with Kevin in the Lancair many times. It is crazy fast. Great to have you checking in on beechtalk. I know you will find it informative.
It has been fun visiting with you about your pending change in planes. So many options, like you said, add money and stir.posting.php?mode=reply&f=33&t=70723#

Wow, what a fast looking plane that Lancair is..... hope you are not disappointed in your Beech "Super Cub" when you make the purchase.

You definitely wont be disappointed when you decide to throw in all manner of crap in those big barn doors.

Here's an example: Dropping the kid off at college (yes, he took his guns to school), weekend road bike trip, complete elk rack in back.

Very utilitarian.......
