Howdy, looking for a nice Bonanza, IO-550 conv, waas gps, tip tanks, hsi, '66 or later...less than $120k ish...

Seems reasonable...

Anyone know much about a '77 V35B, N470T on controller?

Really like the Atlantic Aero conversion...

Thanks,

Abe

Abe,

Welcome to BeechTalk. You'll find Los of helpful info here.

Just curious.....what part of "planet Earth" are you from? What are you flying now?

The ad for the plane you ask about looks very nice. I can assure you that the AA IO 550 R conversion is, in fact, great! One thing....I thought this engine conversion came with the Hartzell Super Scimitar prop, and this ad list the "Saber Tipped" prop -- not sure what that means.

I say Earth, because I currently don't have a home...in transition and deployed.

When I'm flying it's either in the F-15C or an MD88 for Delta...been wanting a personal plane for some time and ready to take the plunge...

If you are asking where I'm from, Texas born by the grace of god...

Abe,

reminds me of the line my Tejas buddy's always using on the golf course whenever anybody asks him where he's from.....

His response,

"You should never ask a fella where he's from. Cause, ifn he's from Texas, he'll tell you soon enough. And ifn he ain't, well, you sure don't wanna embarrass the poor guy!"

Abe,

Welcome... you find a lot of CG and airline folks here, and a lot of good info on Bonanzas.

As for the one you're looking at, probably deserves a look or two. That AA conversion is a great engine and a nice performer..... ask Arlen, who has already responded.

While it has fairly high TT, and perhaps a bit light on avoinics, but not horrible... good autopilot. Also, the engine is getting up there a bit wtih 783 since install... but still some time.

I'd put less and less value on an HSI today, and lean toward a better GPS map that you spend most of your time looking at. In fact (for me), I'd eliminate the HSI, however, ya need some heading source to be legal.

What's in your MD88?

Abe,

I would contact Paul McCracken, or Neal Schwartzs here on BT pay the small fee tell them what you want and hold on for the ride. PMC is a Beech centric IA that has most likely saved BT'ers Millions of dollars over the years with his Pre-buy inspection services, he also will search out a plane for you.... Neal will do the same but hires out the Pre-Buy.

Welcome and good luck....
