Got on board BT a year ago when I was looking for a mid 50's bonanza to add a small go fast to my fleet and recently upgraded to an '84 A36 I kept a number reserved that I had used before on a T34, Cessna 310, Saratoga, B55 and even a Maule. Think I will have this airplane for quite awhile so put 2JC on the A36. Sanded and painted the white then cut the new number from 3M 9 year vinyl. When I got the aircraft it had a 430 on top of old Collins radios but I was most happy with the 696 that was panel mounted and slaved to the 430. After a couple trips from 8KS8, Prairie Cottage Kansas, to 7FL6, Spruce Creek FL I had Kings Avionics in New Century KS upgrade the 430 to WAAS and put it #2 under a 530 and kept the 696 with everything slaved to the 530. After owning and flying 29 different airplanes I believe this configuration offers me everything I want and I would recommend it highly If you see me on the ramp please say Hi.

Jim, You've got nice stuff You're not flying that to the Biplane fly-In are you? Do you have any information on the Biplane fly in? I seem to remember you are involved in this event. Robert

It will be at the National Biplane Fly In and yes I kind of run that show. I base N2JC at 3JC, Junction City KS, home of the Biplane Fly In. Get the whole story on the fly in at http://www.nationalbiplaneflyin.com. All Beech Talkers are welcome and you dont have to show up in a Staggerwing.

I agree Kevin. I had looked for quite awhile for the right 84+ to come along. I had owned B58 and B55 aircraft when I was flying 3 times a week for business but now the A36 is the perfect traveling airplane for us and a couple grandkids.
