Hi, I am new to BeechTalk, and new owner of a 1975 58 series Baron (pictures to follow). In short - I am a retired military pilot of 25 years (F-16C) and currently flying for Continental Airlines (United) as a 756 FO in Newark NJ. While I have been around aviation for almost 30 years now I have not flown or been involved with GA for almost 20 years, so I will have lots of question and hope this community will provide lots of good advice. I just purchased my Baron last month and am getting ready to get checked out in it via the BPPP program.
I would like to encourage any one who is considering buying or selling a Beech product or any aircraft for that matter, to use Neal Schwartz as their broker. Neal literally made this deal happen for me with as little pain as possible, he is a very knowledgeable, energetic and professional individual and I can now say, a friend. His number is (914)625-5776.
Thank you and I look forward to communicating with "you" about Beech aircraft and flying in general.

Wow Mark, thanks for the awesome shout out. Means a lot to me.

Mark and I met through a mutual buddy of ours at our airline who used to fly Vipers with him in the Guard...and I'm glad my friend introduced us because I really enjoyed helping Mark buy this Baron.

But I'll take the hit for not properly briefing Mark on the fact that the BeechTalk community is relentless about pictures. I'll further take the blame that I didn't take any pictures when I test flew the airplane on the day of the pre-buy inspection. My fault! But I will say that it is a gorgeous 58 Baron and will give him and family a lot of enjoyment.

It was a lot of fun working with Mark as he is an extremely accomplished aviator in the military and airline world but definitely new to the GA world. He was incredibly inquisitive throughout the whole process and was a great guy to work with for that reason. He's going to love his new Baron. And I made sure that he come on here to learn as much as he can about his new airplane as this is the premier resource for Beechcraft pilots and operators obviously. He has already done the BPPP online ground school and is now awaiting his first few hours of BPPP initial Baron training with one of the Virginia instructors. I eagerly await his report after his check out weekend.

Welcome to BT Mark!

-Neal
