Hi All,

I just bought into a joint ownership flying club at PDK. There are 10 members and we own a 1978 and 1993 A-36. I now have 25 hours in the airplanes and must say I am hooked. I have about 300 hours in an M20J and believed no airplane could be as much fun and stable, but that was before the A-36.

I have attached pictures of the airplanes and the panel of the 1993.

Both airplanes have a 696 with weather and geo-referenced approach plates.

Have enjoyed reading the posts and thought it was time to introduce myself.

Wayne

Wayne,

Great move and now you have joined the group of Beech addicts! You are on your way.

What I find heart warming is the number of these congratulatory messages I find myself writing. Maybe GA is experiencing a leveling off? Great to see a whole group of guys gettin' it done!

Best Regards,

Kevin

Interesting that it has the additional GAMI cooling fins near the lower aft section of the engine compartment.

Will have to check out the history.

Welcome aboard. My how flying clubs have changed in the last 40 years!! I once belonged to a great club that had 2 cherokees and a Skylane and I thought those were pretty good. have fun with those nice 36's. I could never fit into a Mooney long ago so I dont know what it would be like now. You ae going to love the Beech planes. Fly safe
