Hello everyone. New to Beechtalk. Hope to learn everything I can about my recently purchased Sundowner and some of its landing quirks. It is a great flying aircraft but it sure doesn't land like a Cessna 172. Is it me or does the aircraft have a tendency to nose up at the point where I slowly pull back on the yoke when I think it should just settle gently to the runway? Conditions are power off, full flaps, two adults on board. Your thoughts are welcome. This hasn't been a major problem but I like landings that are smooooooth; at least most of the time.

Mike,
Welcome to Beech Talk! Have you had the rigging verified?

The Sundowner has one quirk: It gets squirrely quickly on a bounced landing. If you do a couple of "porpoises" on the runway go around immediately. I like the Sundowner. It is a nice flying and comfortable airplane.

Welcome to BeechTalk!

Where are the photos? ;)
