Hello,
I am Dave Robinson.
I am a new Bonanza owner, I purchase a 1975 V35B Nov 4th. I picked it up on the 23rd. I have flown Beech Bonanza's A36, A35, also if it counts a T34A. As an owner I want to learn as much about the aircraft, flying techniques and MX as I can . Obviously this I a great place to be for learning and sharing.
I live in the Memphis TN area , I am based in Millington Tn (KNQA).
I am a retired Military (USAf/ANG) pilot and a retired Airline pilot. I have a Pitts Model 12, homebuilt by myself and have had it 23 years. I used to own a T-6 Texan
The V35B fits my need in retirement for travel.
See you around the Patch, Dave R.

Dave, welcome! My suggestion: block out July 16-23 for the B2Osh mass arrival and time at Oshkosh. Then, after the first of the year check the B2osh.org website and register for one (or more?) of the regional formation clinics. With your military and Pitts time, you won't have any problems getting up to speed with the mass arrival procedures. The clinic, B2Osh itself, the ABS tent, etc. are all a quick way to meet other owners and learn all you can in a short, concentrated time.

I have a fast card issued by NATA and am lead qualified and current. I had a T-6G up until 2 months ago but still fly my friends in formation. Just flew a form ride with my son , me in the V35B and his 1947 A35 what a blast! I have flown two mass arrivals in the T-6 to OSH, one a 48 ship and a 37 ship . I also flew during the show for the 80th and the 85th aniversary of the T-6. I am not going to lie , you know thats "HARD" work! lol I will defiantly come to as many form clinics as my schedule allows to get spooled up on Bonanza formation procedures and techniques. I have several friends who have participated and they all had great things to say about the training and flying. I will check out B2Osh.org for sure, both I and my son will most likely bring our airplanes. ( He is a former Marine aviator with lots of form experience). Thanks again and look forward to meeting you, Dave Robinson
