Steve Pellegrino here. Most of you know me as Crism from elsewhere in the Internets. I've currently got just over 150hrs with 30hrs of that being Multi-Engine. I'm currently 18 years old with my Private Pilot Single and Multi Engine ratings as well as a brand new Instrument that I received 3 days ago. I attend college at Embry-Riddle and will be flying the Diamond Twin Stars next month. I've flown a bunch of different planes which include the 150/152, 172, 182, M20R, DA40, PA30, and PA44. I've NEVER flown a Beech though. I'd definitely like to get up in one at some point. And also, I'd like to own a plane at some point.

I'm a country lawyer who would rather have been a folksinger. Learned to fly in Southern California in the 1960's, worked as a CFI down there for a couple of years (1971-72) while in college, and was granted asylum in beautiful Southwest Washington a dozen years ago. For the last five years our lovely K35 Bonanza has bored a hole in the sky between here and the Phoenix area, where our older son and our grandkids live. Now, however, we've decided to go the light sport route, and we have a new CubCrafters Sport Cub on order. Unfortunately we're not in a position to feed, clothe or house two airplanes, so the K35 is for sale ( http://www.geocities.com/grumman365ps/sale). And, that invite is still valid when you have had enough of the cold and snow. There are plenty of guest rooms, as long as we can put you up at the neighbor's house. <BG> In addition to flying all over, I've been working on the is new project for many months, and we launched it a few weeks ago. Video shooting instructions. There was much to learn. Whoeee. http://www.guntalk.tvIt's great to be able to throw all the video gear (many bags) in to the back of the A36 and just fly directly to whatever small town is closest to the actual destination. Good to see you here.

I survived public school, was in a school play, played sports, spent entirely too much time in the Principal’s office, hunted in the swamps, rode motorcycles in California, shot my brother in the head with a bow and arrow, had my tail kicked by my father for smarting off to my mother, and learned why we don’t shoot women from horseback. Barely survived college, was in a play and a civil rights march, played sports, joined a fraternity, spent entirely too much time in the Dean’s office, flunked my draft physical, and learned that we should shoot politicians from horseback.
Moved out on my own, married the wrong girl, sterilized Boll Weevils, showed a steer and a ram in a livestock show, graduated LSU, taught in a Catholic School, survived a tornado and the students, spent entirely too much time in Mother Superior’s office, and learned why I’m not Catholic.
Went to grad school, and dental school, passed gross anatomy, made a movie, and spent entirely too much time with the dean’s secretary. Moved to Gulfport, practiced dentistry, got my pilot’s licence, was shot at by Customs agents, divorced the wrong girl and learned why we should all carry our own guns.
Moved to Hawaii, hated it, moved again, taught at the University of Nebraska, raced Porsches, shoveled snow, married the right girl and learned that an ex-wife’s attorney can find you anywhere.
Moved back South, raced sailboats, bought a race car, drove it, raced it, wrecked it, drove it some more, won the Billfishing Tournement in Cozumel, and learned that it is possible to drink too much rum.
Learned to scuba dive, extracted a Mayan Chief’s wisdom tooth on the beach, sewed up Billy Peter’s head after a ceiling fan at Carlos and Charlie’s fell on him, shared a pyote button with him and learned that big green spiders and orange elephants do crawl up hotel room walls.
Had my first novel published, moved back to Baton Rouge, found out what geniuses my parents had become since I’d left home, met the best office staff in the world, actually began to put money in retirement and learned what a stupid first-born child my parents had tolerated.
Bought an airplane, flew it to Alaska, Newfoundland, Key West, Central America, the Bahamas, waved at a Cuban MIG, and took the phone call that the right girl had crashed the wrong airplane.
Went diving in Bonaire, fly fishing in the Black Canyon, Heli-sking in Canada, white-water rafting on the Gauley and swam in Thunderball Grotto in the Exhumas. Have flown several dozens of different airplanes and two helicopters, got my seaplane rating and my CFII and MEI, wrote articles for a aviation magazines and found out from an Air Force fighter pilot just how much I have left to learn.
Took the best office staff in the world to the Bahamas, Disney World, Costa Rica, and Las Vegas. Found out that my 64 year old partner is marrying a 24 year old girl, is moving to Destin, will soon have to work full time again, and learned that you’re never too old to become dangerously stupid.
Finally started paying attention and discovered what a bunch of weenies we are compared to our parent’s generation, bought a Beech 18 with a fellow massochist, taking stewardess applications, got my A&P because you need it to own a Twin Beech, discovered Viagra, worked on Wings to Adventure television, survived prostate cancer, now have a TN-A36, teach the Advanced Pilot Seminars classes and am planning for me and Jiminy Cricket to live to be 103.

Hi I started flying in 1977 and have accumulated a little over 3000 hours since then the last couple thousand of which were in a Bonanza (1954 E35) I owned for ten years and a Baron (1970 B55) I've had for the last twelve. I've been involved in electronics and computers since about the 3rd grade (well the computers had to wait till 1968 when I was in high school). I'm currently employed as a "System Architect" (means I get to play with every aspect of new designs) by a company that makes equipment and sensors used in the electronics assembly industry. Originally from the Detroit area I got transplanted to Minneapolis in the mid 70's and have been here ever since (and this time of year I start to wonder why). I come from a family of aviators, my mother became a private pilot in 1941 and my dad was a flight engineer and squadron maintenance officer in the first group of B-29 crews that flew out of India, China, and the Marianas. Unfortunately for me, neither of my parents did any flying when I was living at home but they did start flying about as soon as I left for Minnesota so I guess I started flying about the time they got back in. In addition to the Baron I own a classic Porterfield Collegiate, a 65 HP steel tube, wood and fabric taildragger that happens to be the very airplane my mother took her checkride in back in 1941. Over the years I've accumulated a few ratings including Instrument Airplane, Commercial ASEL, AMEL, ASES, and Private Glider. One of these days I'm gonna add Helicopter although I don't know what I'll do with that rating. In my spare time when I'm not flying or working on airplanes I'm usually either waterskiing (in the summer or when I'm in Florida), snowskiing (I race in a Nastar league every week during the winter), or playing hockey (I've never gotten any good at hockey but that doesn't prevent me from having fun trying).

Hi all, 1987 Pvt Pilot while in the USMC in California. Have worked as an Air Traffic Controller since 1991. Built an RV9a, finishing in 2003. Finally really started flying a lot at that point. IFR 2005, Commercial SEL 2006, CFI and CFI also in 2006. Bought a 1/3 share of a K35 BO this past spring and really love it. Totally different flying from the RV, both lots of fun! Looking forward to learning from this group. Nathan Larson ZKC Supervisor CFII Attachment: N806R cropped pic.jpg

It is a fantastic piece of machinery.
